The rooms were small and the carpets were dirty. It is conveniently located but not what we expected. Not a place we would recommend.

Hotel lacked upkeep. Had water leank in elevator roon, door open all the time and a regular house fan was used to gool it. Room needs more comfortable chairs, Beds need to be replaced. We stayed only one night out of 3, went to the Clarion .

Bearskin on the lodge is a great hotel!!.. The rooms are extra large, even if you dont get a room with a fireplace jacuzzi, and overlooking the river. The standard 2 queen beds will do you just fine. We loved everything about the Lodge. Great room with jacuzzi, FP and view. The lady that took care of the breakfast was very friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave after our two night stay. We're planning another trip in May.

This hotel looked like the one on the brochure and was porbably one of the best looking hotels around gatlinburg. The price was great, cute fireplaces, nice parking, walking distance, food next door, river view was so peaceful and mountains can be seen. I will deffinatly come back to Gatlinburg and stay here at the BearSkin Lodge.... very romantic and cozy...
