Overpriced

We were there on 7/17-18/07. We felt that the room was overpriced for the accomodations. The room was not very well lit. It was very hard to see or try to read because the room was so dark. The carpet was damp and the room felt very humid and sticky. The AC blew out directly onto the bed right into your face. I believe the bed was only a full ...

Nice, new hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/07
The Bearskin Lodge was very clean and pleasant to stay at. We visit Gatlinburg about two times a year, and we usually stay at Park Vista or The Holiday Inn on Airport Road. This hotel was much nicer than either of those. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast that was provided. It was certainly better than dropping $30.00 on the local ...

Wasn't as impressive as our first visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/07
Just got back from our second visit to Bearskin Lodge. While three years ago we thought this place was tops, we were rather disappointed this time. Last time we had a very comfortable king bed with a pillow top. this time the queen beds were comprised of very worn out foam that caved in the middle. And the beds were way down low to the floor. My ...
i love it all. we stay there for valentines day and it was all 5 star hotel. I love it an have recommended it to all family and friends. Great Time an we walked to all the places we wanted to go which was Great too.
It was Beautiful, the lodge look like a log cabin without the high price. The staff was very nice and helpful. we plan coming back for our anniversary which is this week. Love the breakfast. You could walk everywhere downtown. Looking forward to this week God Bless sharon fugate
My partner and I have travel all over and have stayed in 5 star hotels but this by far has been my favorite place. It's worth the extra $20 a night to upgrade to a king fire place and jacuzzi suite. If you want to experience a cabin like setting this place is for you. It has wooden cabin style furnishing with all the extras. The beds are nice ...

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before, but this time we were so disappointed-we asked for NON smoking-and of course the room smelled awful when we walked in-we had to ask for another room-and they reluctantly moved us...the bed was so hard I tried to sleep on the couch as a last resort-the heat-AWWW-the heat had no type of ...

Too cramped

Room 305, single queen size bed. Small room barely adequate for one person. No table to sit at, verry small frig. Two cain back chairs to sit in. No internet connection. Fireplace on a timer so had to constantly turn on. Bathroom whirlpool was not clean. When turned on the first time, hair (which was not mine) was floating on surface. Single ...

I STAYED THERE FOR 4 DAYS AND THE HOTEL IS SO NICE! IT LOOKS BRAND NEW AND THE ROOMS ARE HUGE! I HAD THE ROOM THAT HAD A FIREPLACE AND A BALCONY! THE VIEW WAS A CREEK WHICH WAS BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL. THERE WAS FREE INTERNET AND A LOT OF SPACE. THE ROOM HAS A LITTLE REFRIGERATOR TOO! I LOVED IT!
