The food was terrible and the service mediocre. The rooms are nothing special - leaving no particluar reason to stay at this Inn. St Michaels offers many pleasant alternatives for great food and nicer lodging.
We just returned from a 4th of July stay and it was not worth the rate. We paid nearly $300 for one night. The staff was surly and rude, and the room was small and shabby. We had booked a balcony room and the furniture there was resin, $6.00 each chairs!
We inadvertantly did not take our coupon (1/2 off an entree) that we were given at ...
It was probably nice in the 80's. Too bad they haven't cleaned or redecorated since. My wife and I wanted a nice getaway...we're sorry we picked this place. We booked 3 nights but, after seeing the room, we tried to cancel the remaining two - no such luck.
There are too many other better options in St. M. Avoid this place.
The building was in disrepair, the service was tardy, I was overbilled on the way out, the list goes on. Very disappointed. Would be a good deal at half the price.
For $475, I wanted more than a good view. The room was worn (peeling wallpaper, stained carpet), sheets were scratchy and there were too many sales pitches for resort services all over the room (flyers, tent cards and the like). When we complained, I got a shrug and a "we're re-doing several rooms." Try elsewhere!!
The location is quite nice, although it would have been nice to be closer to town. Service is terrible. The front desk staff seemed very put upon when any requests were made (requests such as "Where is the pool?" which I would not classify as particularly demanding). The rooms are clean, but poorly furnished and decorated. The ...
This establishment should be ashamed of themselves--this place is over-hyped and very under-whelming. Rooms are sub-par with bugs, service non-existent, staff RUDE, no attempt to even imitate customer service; you get the picture--it should be closed! Run!
My husband and I chose The Harbor Inn as our Honey Moon destination back in October. We had the time of our life! The staff was excellent and the rooms were really clean!
Don't let the website or descriptions fool you. This is the most overpriced/underwhelming Inn we've ever been to. It does have beautiful views of the harbor, and the new spa is excellent, but stay somewhere else. The room we stayed in - a Jacuzzi suite ($375) was compatible to a Holiday Inn. Old carpet, fraternity house furniture you should ...
