The place is the best. They were extremely attentive and helpful. Art, at the front desk, is a true professional who makes everyone feel important. Parking is tight, but it's right there. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave, safe, and a great balcony view of the beach and ocean. It was great!

For the price and location you can't beat this place. You are not at the Hilton so what are you expecting? We love the service we get from the staff. The rooms are clean and that is what is important. The view is great and is out of the rat race of the busy part of the beach. We go back every year and already booked for next year. Can't wait!!!

I loved the view from the balcony the most of anything. I spent every night sitting the with a beer and just listening to the waves. The staff was very friendly and even tried to accomodate my family bringing a BBQ grill for the 4th of July. Our room had a kitchen in it so that my family could save money on takeout.

This was our fourth year going to Virginia Beach. Every year we stayed at a different hotel and this year, after reading the reviews on-line, we decided to stay at the Econo-Lodge. Glad we made the right choice this year. The rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Free use of bikes, and nice swimming pool. We will be coming back again. This was by far the best place we stayed

Checked reviews and the Econolodge seemed to be the best deal so we booked for this past weekend. We weren't disappointed - it's very clean, right on the beach, and the hotel staff is very helpful and accomodating. It's down at the quieter end of the strip, across the street from a convenience store, and only a couple of blocks away from an Irish pub.

Wow!!! After reading thru many reviews at many properties, I was on the verge of going someplace other than Virgnia Beach. Thank goodness I kept reading until I stumbled upon the Econo Lodge on the Ocean. Why???? Let me tell you....

I loved the hotels,pools, and the ocean. It looks like you're at the best beach in the United States. I don't like that some resturaunts are dirty w/ trash on the door for ex. Dough Boys. But other than that everything else is perfect.
