We stayed here overnight since we attended a wedding nearby. We stayed in the main building and thanks to earlier reviews, we knew to ask for a room away from the Music Lounge. We notified the Desk Manager that we would be arriving earlier than check-in time and he made sure that we had a clean room upon arrival.

I can understand why a room over the lounge would be a problem.
We were in a separate building and our room was very nice.
It was comfortable, spacious, and well-climate controlled.

For the money, it was a good deal.

This hotel is a very nice place to stay for a traveler or someone who just wants to get away for a weekend.
The staff is top notch and took care of my every need. I will be staying at the Governor's Inn the next time I come to town.

We went to the Murder Mystery play. The hotel was perfect. The play was great and the food was perfect. We plan to attend the next play in 2006. Can't wait to go back and see if the 2nd time is as good as the first.

I LOVED THE DECOR. PLUS THE VALUE FOR THE HUGH ROOMS - EVERYONE WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND ACCURATE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I didn't have reservations and had never stayed there,but when I walked in the door and throughout my 3 day stay, I felt like I was someone very special. The staff was so very helpful and friendly, from the houseman to the manager. Everyone had a smile and cheerful attitude. A very good place.

The facility was very clean and comfortable. The employees could not have been more hospitable and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone!

Terrible. Experienced the most rude check in clerk and process ever! Rude to customers, indifferent and nasty. Beware they actually sell rooms above their lounge which is open till 2:00 am. Would never stay here again when in the area. Many other hotels nearby, don't stay here!!!
