I stayed at Casa Loma because there was no other availability in the Cape Coral area! The room was old looking, the kitchen appliances looked like they were from the 50's. The maid was a man. The pool was small and had leaves all over it. But we got to sleep well. Everything was good I guess.

a jewel of a hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/07
We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It's a small intimate hotel on the end of a waterway. We stayed in a room overlooking the pool, very pretty, tropical grounds. There were 2 chairs and a small table outside the room, and we had 2 doors to the room, and a separate kitchenette room. Great lodging and value. The only thing we disliked was that the front of the mini refrigerator was rusted.

This was our first trip to Cape Coral to visit friends. We are a family of 5, and were very satisfied with our accommodations at Casa Loma. Not only were the rooms big, the kitchenette was great. The beds were very comfortable, and the cot which they provided for us was bigger than any I have ever seen in a motel. We had a canalside view ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/06
The location was great, close to Sanubel, Captiva Islands as well as Fort Myers. The sunsets overlooking the canal were breath taking. U have stayed at Casa Loma on two seperate occasions.

I've personally stayed at the quality inn, del prado inn, and casa loma. I really don't think you can go wrong with the quality inn or the casa loma. The casa loma is only 2 storys and smaller the a 25 floor inn like quality but it's a little more vacation oriented. It has a beautiful pool that overlooks the canal. One thing I have ...

I liked everything. All rooms are effeciencies. Ice cold air. Convienient location. Tv programming could have been better but for the money it is a steal. I stayed the night before a the quality inn and it was horrible. I actually witnessed a a lot of shady drug deals going down at the quality inn. I check out of there the next day and went to this fine motel. It was nicer that most rooms you get elsewhere for 150 dollar. Huge AAA discount.
