  • Beach Front with one dog friendly room.

    We stayed in the one dog friendly room (no pets in the rest of the motel). Although this is an older motel it has been updated and was exceptionally clean and well equipped.

  • The Place For Me

    I have developed a repore with the place and staff. Many good memories there. When I go to Daytona, if I can't stay a Sandcastle, it just isn't the same. Well kept and comfortable.

    Fantastic place to stay if ever in Daytona Beach. We reserved a pet friednly room and it was by far the cleanest room I have ever stayed in at Daytona. Pets were not allowed to be walked on the grouds so we took our dog to the adjacent neighborhood across A1A.   • Great Time in Daytona!

    We had rhe best time ever at the Sand Castle. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were great, and the ameniies like the pool and beach were perfect. We would recommend it to any one.

    Great location right on the beach close to the pier and shops (publix) nice rooms a little cramped especially in the bathroom but overall a good beach motel WARNING their parking lot is tiny so be careful how you park and if you have a dog there really isn't good place to walk them but they do allow pets

  • Looking forward to next February!

    My husband and I go to Daytona every February but skipped 2005 and 2006 because we prefer to stay in the "mom and pop" type places which are rapidly disappearing. Thanks to these reviews, we found the Sand Castle Motel. We absolutely love this place and plan to return there next February.

    We have been here 2 times and love it. It is right on the ocean and rooms are nice with a kitchen, if you want to just hang out and cook, swim and take in the views from one location.

    We stay at the Sand Castle Motel every year and it is the best little motel ever.. Yeah there are the regulars and yes they are older but you have to think that if they keep coming back it has to be for a reason and that reason is this motel is GREAT. It has a great location on the beach, great because you are close to everything. If you are wanting to go and relax and have fun I strongly recommend staying here.
