We enjoyed the Clarkson Inn b/c it has a European feel, is close to SUNY Potsdam, and the staff was very friendly. We stayed there during parent's weekend and the rooms are beautiful and roomy. The desk staff was as helpful as we would expect from a higher-priced hotel. Very few amenities offered in the room - only 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and we had to pay $2.00 for a Sunday paper. We loved the convenience of being downtown, but the drunken college ...

It was a great hotel as it was extremely close to Clarkson. The service was great, accompanied by a good price and clean rooms. If your in Potsdam or even Canton for that matter, the Clarkson in is the only place to stay.

Clean, friendly, great location between both colleges. Would have liked to seen a elevator for someone who can't climp the stairs or has a temporary disability.

Everything was perfect and it was close to the college so i could visit my boyfriend wihtout having to spend alot of time traveling to get there. The stay wsa fabulous keep up the excellent work on the best service also. Thank You for such a wonderful stay at you Inn.
