We stayed in the Brookside section (Pondside is across the street). It's a nice old-fashioned motel, with knotty-pine walls, very comfortable beds, cable TV, and, we were pleased to discover, WiFi access. The restaurant on the property was good (we had dinner) and the continental-style breakfast included fresh pastries and was more than enough.

This is the greatest place in the world. Quaint and clean. Lots to do in Williamstown.

The one with the ambience must be the Main House, though we did not actually see it. The more economical Pondside, which is a separate building, is a regular motel.
