We stayed in the "River Suite" for four days and there wasn't anything sweet about it. There were spider webs everywhere with dead bugs trapped in them that obviously came in through the windows that wouldn't close. The windows were also very dirty with everything you could imagine. We had the larger of the two suites with private baths and our friends took the other. Both were clean and had comfortable beds. Furniture is 'shabby chic' and they definitely could use some new pieces - these were not antiques! Staff was wonderful and Brynn regaled us with tales of this haunted inn (especially our room). We paid $175/night for the "elegant river suite". False advertising at its worst! Sound was readily transmitted from the lobby below.
