First time to the Seychelles. The hotel was a delight. The facilities were second to none. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The weather was incredible. Even the minimal rain was pleasant to be out in. Would certainly go back again given the opportunity.

The location of this hotel is stunning. Although not quite as up market as its meridien sister at Fishermans cove in the north of the island, it beats it hands down for location and ambiance. Certainly if you go at the time we did (2nd week in Feb.07) and want beach, sea and relaxation then this ones got the lot. I was astounded by some of the ...
First of all let me start by say I'm a travel agent of 18 years and have seen and stayed in some fantastic properties and you would think I would know a decent hotel when I see one !!!! and this is definatly one of them. I simply cannot understand the other reviews criticisms. The hotel is situated on a beautiful lagoon which streches for about ...

The worst hotel ever.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/06

The spa is NOT built yet although they advertise that it is open. The staff and management are rude, arrogant and do not know ...

The big pool and the garden was fantastic and the beach nice also. In some seasons there might be huge waves that make it impossible to swim, but the pool ...

Just returned from the Barbarons (11-18 September). If you are looking for a modest hotel complete with cockroaches in the rooms, then this is the place for you. Despite being told that the gym and spa were open since the renovation, they are not. This was part of the selection criteria we used for this hotel and when queried after our arrival, the ...
