We think it is one of the best places we stayed while in Costa Rica. We sat on our deck and drank coffee and watched birds for hours. The trees out front were full of them. Also the monkeys would visit with their babies. All-n-all a very pleasent stay. Staff was very helpful and the food was good.
Stayed there in July of 1995 when it had just opened and it was simply fabulous. The photos here do no justice at all to the cliff top views of the Pacific, near the Manuel Antonio Nature Preserve from the villas.
The pool is nestled into a cliff, which drops beneath it to the Pacific, has a swim up bar/cafe with ...

My husband and I returned from Costa Rica and a stay at Si Como No last week. Our flight there had been delayed one night due to an ice storm. When I called Si Como No, they said they would try to sell the room for that night but otherwise we would be charged. We arrived the next evening, and the person checking us in offered us the information ...
The only complaint I would have is that they would turn off the air conditioning after you left the room and opened all the blinds. We understand they are trying to conserve but our only suggestion to them was to leave the blinds closed during the day and leave the air on around 78 degrees. Otherwise, you couldn't ask for a nicer and friendlier place to stay!

The best of the bunch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/05
Of all places we stayed in Costa Rica - 6 locations - Si Como No and Xandari were the best of the bunch. What really set this apart from the others was the location and the food. For the nature lover you see many varieties of wildlife right on the grounds - we spotted iguanas, geckos, anoles, bassilisks and ameivas, and had a giant treefrog on ...

Si Como No Means Sure, Why Not? I've got about a million reasons not to.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/05
This place ruined our honeymoon.
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT stay at Si Como No Hotel. I got married there and they ruined my stay in Costa Rica. When you pay a lot of money, you expect for things to be nice. We had cigarette holes in the sheets the first night. (And that is only the top of the cake). I complained to the manager at the hotel, who ...
What a beautiful place to stay. You walk along magnificient paths thru lush vegatation only to be surprised as you come upon your accomodation. The food and service were wonderful, and is a hotel I will return to again. Close to a beautiful beach, and convenient to many diverse activities.

I loved this place!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/05
I think Si Como No is magnificent for its over-all ecological stance. It's a "Green" hotel and I would go back again and again just for that. The way it fits into the landscape is fantastic. The service, food, and accomodations were very good.
