It's truly ashame that such a potentially great place was designed with very little attention to the climate and the longevity of the materials used. The whole hotel is carpeted like most high-end resorts, but in this highly humid region, next to the ocean, the old, often stained, carpet is now a breeding ground for molds and mildew. I ...

There are lots of things that i love (food) cause it's like the egyptian kings time,you eat till u fall.U get it the way u like it and it's with pleasure.Beds,rooms are soft and fresh like cotton candy.Lovely service that is why they call the country:"Dekou Terranga".

Pulled into Dakar on a ship....this hotel was recommended by the Embassy as a safe place to go, and it was by far the best time we had, being away from the states for 6 months. Food was excellent, and you didn't have to question whether or not it was safe to eat. We of course got the Embassy rate to stay there, which is far more reasonable ...
I attended the Miss Senegal Pageant in 2000. This hotel is definitely a five star, it's price alone says so.
