I was robbed 113.00 for this manager on july 4th. I knew the place was not completely back up and running since IKE, I didn't need a room, I stayed in a tent with hubby, friend of mine wanted to come for the night but wanted a room. I didnt stay here, went to the sorta make shift office, the place is still in horrible shape after IKE or I would guess IKE, there is carpet outside walls missing and they are still renting out rooms "90.00" a night was what i was told and no TV or Phone the lady told me... I went back across the water and stayed at the Best western beachfront inn for 98.00 with tax!

I stayed here with my folks back in June 2006, this place is a dump, holes in the carpet, filthy beds, a microwave with something that looked like someone cooked a rat in it, shower worked... some of the time, it was just bad in every sense of the word. Hell there was a couple outside smokin a joint with the manager, not that i have a problem with ...

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Chrystal Beach. The first night at the Crystal Beach Palace, the next night in the back of my pickup truck on the beach. I strongly recommend the bed of a truck. There is a store with an outside shower just down the road. We still call that place the “Name that Smell Hotel” And remember take plenty of bug spray.

We almost stayed there one night. Both rooms looked like they hadn't been fixed or cleaned since 2 hurricanes ago. Decided that crack hos wouldn't stay here. There was a sign that said "No Refunds after 30 minutes." We got our refund and stayed in Galveston, instead.
Great location. No value. No service. No cleaning.

well i dident like any thing about it. except the a/c. om they charged me 124 and i have quoted prices of 59$. the tv only got 2 channels. and ther was no phone or microwave. or fridge. there were signs saying these thing were in the room , but wernt. iam never going back to that place agine.

You guys really think you're going to get a NICE room at Crystal for 69$ on a weekend? Because you're not.

Get real. If you want somewhere super nice, you're going to have to rent a cabin. Get over it.

Well, at first i'll admit I was impressed with the price but by the time i got to the room i realized i had been jipped. The phone in the room lacked a phone cable which knocked communication to a cell phone game of tag. The television was missing most of the buttons and someone had been putting cigarrettes out on the carpet for the past few years.
