I love love love the pool of the Indian Springs Calistoga! It's always very warm and relaxing because it is heated by a natural geyser. I was there with my friends in December 2006 (it was record breaking cold at the time), but still made me feel like I'm in the tropics. To me, the place was very peaceful, serene, and magical. I will go back again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again...!!!
I was first introduced to Indian Hot Springs in 1997. My husband and I visited with my in-laws for a weekend in October. I fell in love with the place as soon as we drove onto the property. I don't know if it was the cozy cottage that we stayed in, the olympic size spring heated swimming pool or the spa services I received. Or, it could be ...

Indian Springs Spa
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/06
I love Indian Springs and have been going there for 25 years. I must say the spa is very factory like and I feel like a piece of cattle while waiting for a treatment. It is not cheap and there are other places that are much better BUT the pool is the best and the cottages are very cool!

Do not go there!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/06
This place is worn down. The window in the front lobby is held together with duct tape. The plants are in old pots in disarray. The pool is ancient, and looks nothing like the website depicts. The parking lot is alligatored and in very poor repair. The spa is questionable with very little product in the tiny store. The bunglows, in general, are in fairly poor condition. Do not waste you money!!

my favorite place to stay in Wine Country! The best pool and spa around, with lovely grounds and little cottages!

Love to go back!

I can't tell you anything that I dislike about Indian Springs. I been going for the past 7 or 8 years now at least once a year but would prefer more. Its comfortable, peaceful, within walking distance to downtown Calistoga. Once you park your car you don't have to move till its time to leave. Indian Springs is a wonderful place to treat yourself too.

I've been returning to Indian Springs for almost 20 years. If you are looking for fancy modern glitz and ultra-privacy, this is not the place for you. But if you want the real thing, a blissful spa experience sure to relax and rejuvenate, you will find it here. The buildings are quite old and have an old world feel and charm. The water tubs ...

Unique place, lovely room, a must stay for getaways!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/04
My wife and I decided to stay here for our 1 year anniversary, and we were very impressed! We stayed at a "bungalow", which was basically a cottage. It was huge, with a large living area, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The decor was country style and very cozy. The resort also has an olympic size pool which is heated year round, ...
