I've stayed here 4x so far. Their is new mgmt and they are doing things to moderize more and more. The hospitality is great, knowledge of the area is wonderful. Room rates are very very reasonable. The atmosphere in the town is nice too. Staff always takes good care of us when we need a place to stay. All in All I give them 5 stars all things considered! "YELLOW ATV MAN"

New owners very friendly and have really been cleaning up the place. Liked the nautical atmosphere they have been pursuing-they purchased a local galleries nautical items for decor. Excited to see what it will look like next year-fun place and fun couple.

A must do is their new North Coast Coffee place 5 blocks south.

650 miles of groomed trails-loved the Cross Town Freeway trail-trail 19 north of the Pub N Grub that goes to Herbster.

The South Shore gets fantastic weather in the summer compared to the North Shore of Lake Superior. The motel is situated on Chequamegon Bay w/ trophy smallmouth bass fishing. Access to 650 miles of snowmobile/ATV trails in Bayfield County & Valhalla Valley-what can be better!
Great place to dock your boat in the public marina-$5 a night and $5 to launch.
