In addition to the terrible smell and unclean rooms, the outdoor locks did not work. We did not feel safe at this motel. Anyone from the outside could have walked in to the building, from its numerous exterior doors. They had locks that you would slide your room card into, but they were not operating and the doors were always unlocked.

We spent a weekend at the Stoughton Inn, as everything else in the area was booked up. We always stick to the chain hotels, but decided to take the risk, as we didn't have any other options. This was a huge mistake!

Let me first say the good part about this hotel. The location is great if you are wanting to stay in Soughton and not spend much money. Now for the rest, you get what you pay for.
