The staff wasn't helpful at all. The door to my room wouldn't open properly, and wouldn't lock. The decayed key system should really be changed. The room was depressing. I wouldn't take my sandals off the entire time because the carpet was so disgusting. I think the furnishings were from 1976, and could REALLY stand to be replaced. ...

Customer Service Is Alive and Well at the Gulf Beach II
After reading the last reviews we were concerned so I called and visited with the owners. They reassured us that they were written by someone that was mad they could not disturb everyone with their big dogs. When we arrived what we discovered was they were correct. I rented a group of rooms and we were treated wonderfully. The Gulf Beach II is ...

What a value!

The location is great. The staff is quite friendly, and the prices are absolutely competitive. Don't expect to get the same amenities as the Radison or Mariott. You are paying over half the cost. I was concerned about the keys to the rooms and was reassured that the locks are rearranged regularly to ensure safety. The restaurants down the ...

Evidently it has fallen into the hands of new ownership and nothing could have been further from our expectations. The rooms were smelly, musty, old and in need of repair and both of the ...
Good location by the Lexington. The room was pretty clean. However, someone had smoked in this non-smoking room and the remaining smell was horrible. I just bought a can of spray air cleaner, and it was tolerable after that.
The beach is in view and just a short walk away. Hot water and plumbing worked well.
Off season and mid-week, the ...

We always feel safe and appreciated. parking is right next to the hotel and the walk to the beach takes 3 minutes or 1 1/2 if your chasing your kids. This is not a 4 star per ammenities but it is for price and comfort. J & P Houston
