    Great location if you are visitng Alfred University. Staff was very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning.

  • Same room, same night, different prices

    I have stayed at the Saxon at least 20 times. The only thing that I dislike is that they ask you if you are coming for an event, and if you answer yes, your rate goes up at least $25 per night.

    when i visited alfred state college back in late april, i realized that this has to be the nicest acoomodations in alfred - much better than certain "Economy" accomodations.
