We have stayed at Bar Harbour before and I went online to book rooms for my anniversery and the rates were $38.00 a nite so I called and spoke to a really rude lady at the Inn and she said if I booked the rooms online when I checked in I would have to pay the difference shen the got a little rude and I told her that was false advertisement and she hung up on me. I wouldnt ever stay at this place or recommend it to anyone EVER AGAIN.

This is our third visit to the Bar Harbor and our last.

Each time we have visited it continues it's slide down hill.

When inquiring about extra pillows we were told to try again the next day when the cleaning staff returned. We bought our own.

Parking is a nightmare.

GREAT LOCATION . CLOSE TO ALL MAJOR EVENTS AND REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY. I HAVE BEEN THERE TWICE . LOVED THE OCEAN VIEW AND WALKING TO THE MAIN STREET SHOPPING CLOSE BY.

Worst place, disrepectful staff, dirty rooms. would not let my dog stay here. Beware people11!!!!!!!! Will never spend my money here again. This place gives Myrtle Beach a horrible name. It needs to be demolished!!!!!!!!!!

We booked a penthouse room at the Bar Harbor, when we got there parking was a nightmare. After we finally got parked we went in and ask to see the room first. the hotel was ok!! I thought the price was a little high...there was alot of construction beside of us and the bed linens where not as clean as they should have been....the maid service woke us up every morning before 10am...and acted put out because we were in the room.It was conveinent...we did not swim in the pool because it was dirty.the location was good except for the construction.

The location is great you can walk to the family fun park.The beach is nice and it is at the peir.On Wednesday night we got a great fireworks show.I would stay here again.The carpet is a little worn and our kitchen did not have all that we needed, but we made do since we were there with a group of three families. We had what we needed from three kitchens.We had a great time.
