  • Worth the stop

    The Highlander is an average motel. The price was great at $50 for 3 adults. It is an hour to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Continental breakfast was packaged danish and muffins and juice in the refrigerator.
    Parking was a little bit of an issue. There was a charter bus parked in the lot which made it difficult to get to other spots.

    Liked everything about the Highlander. Fred (the proprietor) was friendly and helpful with places to visit and eat. The room was comfortable and clean. I stayed 2 nights and would have stayed longer had my vacation permitted. The Highlander is an absolutely great value and I highly recommend it.

    the motel location could not be better.right in the heart of williams and an hour from the south rim of the grand canyon.the owners are some of the nicest people you could wish to meet and you feel immediately at home.excellent value for money and we would stay there anytime.if you are looking for a nice family run motel with real character look no further.

    Made to feel welcome. The owners were very helpful in advising us of good places to eat and visit.

    Rooms were clean - could not fault them at all.

    Location was great if you were visiting the Grand Canyon.

    Originally going to spend one night there on our way through to the GC ending up staying 5 nights! Will definitely go back there when we are next in Arizona.
