Just stayed at the Alexis Park Inn for my third time in about four years. Some new things have been added since my last stay, notably an aviation movie night, which turned out to be a pleasure. What mattered to me was that the quality of the service remains absolutely outstanding, the room was spotless and it was quiet.

What a charming little inn. What great service. What an ambiance, with historical aviation memorabilia at every turn.

We've stayed there five times over the last 8 years and each time makes us want to come back for more. The owners (Jay and Mary) have made the Alexis Park our "must stay" on our trips to the east coast.

My wife and I have stayed at the Alexis Park Inn several times and have been quite pleased with our treatment. The owner/operaters have given our stays a quite homey experience. If you want a room/treatment that is the same anywhere you go, try a chain. If you want a room/experience where the staff willcall you by your first name, and take a real personal interest in your stay try the Alexis Part Inn.

Owners Jay and Mary Honeck have converted an older motel into a wonderful aviation-theme inn. The owners provide free shuttle service to the adjacent Iowa City Airport, free movie nights (aviation theme of course) and even have a flight simulator guests can take a spin in. Nice place, nice rooms, great service, wonderful people. We'll stay there again anytime we are near that part of the country.

It has all the amenities for a comfortable, efficient extended stay. Jay and Mary will go out of their way to accommodate any of your needs. We have never had any problems with the staff or owners over the last 4 years (one month stay each year).

Dedication to providing quality service and a unique aviation theme atmosphere unequalled anywhere in the country! An example is the elaborate movie room providing free weekly aviation theme movies on a giant screen, open to anyone, along with a very sophisticated giant screen flight simulator, all custom made. You absolutely cannot go wrong at this hotel.

Love the aviation theme, being a pilot myself. Jay and Mary go out of their way to make their guests' stay as welcome as can be.
