This was our second visit to the inn, the first visit being 4 years ago under different owners. We found the present inn keepers enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and gracious. Many pieces of fine art work- paintings, sculptures, antiques- are on display to enjoy. Our room was attractively decorated and very comfortable. There is the feeling of being ...
Paid $250 per night for a 3rd floor room with no view, dark cramped bathroom with stained linoleum, tiny sink, no towel hooks. Window could not be opened to let in fresh air. Pool was filthy. (We had to clean it ourselves to remove bugs and a floating bandaid.) Did not receive the advertised room sherry, there was no ice in machine, did not recieve ...
Great dinner - beautiful atmosphere & charming innkeepers. Very accommodating hosts - try enjoying a bottle of wine in the library prior to dinner. Windsor is a quaint little town, where glimpses of its heydey can be seen reemerging.

Didn't even miss not having a TV in the room. Would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to go.

Our second visit was even better than our first! The Inn keepers, Susanne and Rob, are wonderful. The Inn is immaculate. The food is delicious. There isn't a thing to complain about and it was the perfect place to spend our 20th wedding anniversary. We like that this is still a "Classic Inn". No TVs, phones and jacuzzis in the rooms. ...
We were greeted with a warm smile and assisted to our room which had a beautiful view of the rolling front lawn of the estate, the large private fishing lake and the ski mountain, Mt Ascutney. It was very tastfully done and we felt as if we were truly in a friends country estate. We thought the attention to detail was especially fine in our ...
