Everything about the Inn was first rate. The only draw back was the location. It wasn't near anything. There was a just okay restaurant in the area. The Inn overlooks the water, but there are houses across the road from the Inn that block the view of the harbor. We would stay there again, so do not take this as a negative review, just some small shortcomings

I used to stay there many years ago under different ownership and the current owners have performed true miracles in the place.
I wish I could go there several times a year but now I reside on the west coast.
Antiques and plush accomodations and the view is totally spectacular and relaxing.

A very comfortable B&B, the hosts are like old friends. The food is excellent, the rooms are comfy, and the evenings are perfect relaxing in front of the fire with a glass of port. What could be a better way to relax away from the hustle and bustle of DC!
