We recently spent 6 nights at the Davenport Hotel in Dublin.
The hotel has a comfortable atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Bathroom was large with lots of shelf space for bath articles, a great lighted makeup mirror, good water pressure, and clean.
Beds were comfortable.
Room had a nice view of a side street.

While the Davenport is a nice hotel and located in a very handy location, on our visit we experienced several items that were contrary to our expectations. I came here from the US and I loved the location and the room we were in. Also the maids were relley nice too us.

From check in to check out the Davenport was a lovely experience.The service was outstanding.The rooms where well appointed and clean.The location was close to many ideal sights.

All of the people were so friendly and helpful. The location was great, right on the tour line and with in walking distance of everything!

If your focus on visiting Dublin is visiting the downtown area, staying in the Merrion Square area is a great place to be. The Davenport is a lovely hotel within a block of Merrion Square.

My only complaint is that charging 13 Euros for a half hour use of the Business Center is pretty outrageous. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the hotel.
