The location. Winterset is a small town and this way we didn't have to travel somewhere else.

It was clean and didn't smell like smoke or anything else. It was quiet. It had continental breakfast.

Dislikes:
You have to check in by 11:00P.M. because that is when they close up and lock the door. I feel they should be open ...

We checked in on a friday because we had a family wedding to attend that night and ended up checking right back out after 2 hours because it was nasty. Bill and his staff very friendly and helpful. Great room at a great price. BTW, all one bed rooms have a king bed. Ask for "The Room" if you want a bit more space, with comfy sofa and chair. No hassle wireless internet was also nice.

We will stay again.
