Our trip was extended by one night, and we stayed here. I can say that it was great for our needs. Close enough to all the places we wanted to see. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the times we delt with the staff they were helpful and pleasant.
I spent a night at this otherwise decent hotel in early April. After checking out I checked my bag with the doorman and was issued a stub. When I returned later on to retrieve my bag the doorman first vanished for a god 15, 20 minutes only to then inform me that my bag was missing. After checking all the storage spaces myself and waiting for a call ...
I made a reservation at this hotel and canceled my reservation within the same day due to a change in my plans. When the date came around for when I was suppossed to stay a charge of $505.22 was deducted out of my checking account. So I called the hotel and asked why I was charged this money, they said I never showed up for my reservation and ...
Everything was great! The door man was helpful and nice, front desk was helpful and our room was clean and very nice for our 4 day stay in NY. I have nothing bad to say about Murray Hill East. They gave us suggestions on where to eat and shop and even offered suggestions on how to save a dollar or two. We are planning to come back to NY in the ...

Great hotel...OK clean, would go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/08
This hotel room was huge! It was the size of an apartment, kitchen, bath, living and bedroom, small dinning area!! The full kitchen was great to have even though we didn't cook! The staff was great, friendly and helpful! The room could have been cleaner, but sheets/bedding was very clean. Bed was hard, pillows soft. But I would stay there again and would recommend!! Just know you are not at the Ritz, but you are not paying Ritz prices!

room was not clean

I think my bedding was not changed at all although I stayed over 3 days in the hotel, so it was not that clean as I was expecting from a 3star hotel to be. Room is full of mirrors, and is not that clean. In case I am back to NYC I will not stay there anymore!!!
Murray Hill East Suites gives you a real apartment, complete with bedroom, kitchen and a nice living cum dining room, right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at a price that a regular, 'full-service' hotel will barely manage a pokey bedroom with an even pokier bath.
Two of the city's best known landmarks are within touching distance, ...
I have nothing positive to say about Murray Hill East!! Our reserved room was not ready on time, and we were repeatedly being misled and ignored! Time after time we were told our room would be ready shortly yet even after we had stepped away for a couple of hours to get a bite to eat, the room was still not cleaned. We were reissued rooms 3 ...
OK.. let me give you a quick run down of our NYC hotel search.
I try to get to the city a couple to a few times a year, down 7 hours from Maine.
This trip I came down with 4 other people and we all booked a large room at the Murray Hill East Hotel. We get there, and our room isn't ready.. (No problem, we were a little early.) They give ...

Hotel was in a great area, convenient to grand central, rockerfeller plaza, plenty of food and shopping on 3rd ave, great kitchen, bath a little small but very clean, large living room in suite, private bedroom, most comfortable hotel bed in a long time!
