When we 1st arrived there was a bomb check point at the end of the hotel driveway. There were 3 guards w/ machine guns and two bomb sniffing dogs that checked out the car we were in. Then outside of the hotel doors were 2 more cops that checked all bags & handbags and 1 more bomb sniffing dogs. I asked the receptionist about the increased ...

gaya ang dati na sinabi ko...bumalik kami ng honey ko!!! sobrang nag enjoy talaga kami sa pag stay namin dyan.... gusto ko bumalik ulit...visit kami ulit to get some dinner.... we have condo now....so just dinner only...at siguro mag spend ng week ends....your my favorite

kind of pricey but all's worth for ...excellent service, good security, very clean. It got to be Shangrila Hotel everytime we go home to Phil.

last january 12 to 21 2008...nag check in kami dyan ng fiancee ko....he is american and a very handsome guy...the hotel is very nice...i cant wait sept...20 to 29 2008...we stay there again!!! its wonderful!!!!

Good location - much shopping nearby, good service - friendly staff, constant construction inside hotel - noisy during day, no kiosk in lobby as advertised. buffets expensive - but good food. Excellent security, staff very responsive.
Well maintained and very clean. Limited ala carte choices in restaurant and room service,but not too bad - fair portions, good food. Stayed 3 weeks, then another 3 week stay - business trip.

Having to travel to Makati for the past 10 years, I have to say the best place to stay is here. The staff and the enviroment is just superb. Very clean, and safe. Each time just get better in all aspects. I normally stay for a week, and wish I could just stay longer. My overall experience is wonderful. Great location, and they love me! as I love them. If anything I could change their it would be the beds, which are of low quality.

The location is ideal, it's just a stone's throw away from Glorietta and 6750. The service is great, and the rooms are so lovely! Beds are extremely comfortable, and be sure to get a room with a view of Makati City!

Downside is, it's very pricey, and costs almost twice the rates offered by nearby hotels. Try it if you're willing to shell out a lot!

The Hotel was clean from Inside, the rooms are little bit small. i stayed in a delux room it seem ok but not so Delux,

all Shangri La Hotels arround the world offers a pick-ups from the Airport but not Makati Shanra-la.
