the hotel was great. the room was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

We love this inn. The owners are worldly people with a very nice collection of art. The food was excellent, service was great, rooms had fantastic detail and I think the place is exceptional.

This hotel is beautiful...until you start looking at details. My husband and I stayed 05/23/07-05/26/07 for our first anniversary. If you plan on a relaxing place to stay to get caught up on sleep....go elsewhere! Just make sure the railroad tracks are not close. Were do I start, the breakfast there is no one word for it.. Excellcent.. The veiw was breathetaking.. The service from the housekeeping and when we were checking in was excellcent also. I will return for many more stays in the furture.

My sister and I just got back from the Kinglsy Inn, in Fort Madison, Iowa. It was my 3rd. stay there.
The Kingsley makes you feel like you are at an elegant hotel (like the Ritz, etc.)
A real high point is that it is a LARGER B & B, (so breakfast is fast), but it is in a beautifully appointed dining room.

Loved the Mississippi River view. Cute rooms with all the amenities including a deluxe breakfast. Our family stayed there while visiting Nauvoo and we absolutely loved it! We will be back!

Unbelievable to find this class in this region from the minute you stop in, the amenities, the attention, the services, the settings, the breakfast, it all say the same thing: first class.
