Thank You for a Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/07
My wife and visit Gettysburg quite often and have stayed with the newest hotel in town and have also stayed at some of the Bed & Breakfast in town, but we are always drawn back to this beautiful hotel with history and charm. The service from the staff far exceeds the other hotels. The restaurant's food was out of this world, the Crab Cakes are the best. We will be back next year and look forward to another wonderful stay.

NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/07
MY WIFE AND I HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL MANY TIMES. THE FIRST TIME WE STAYED WE THOUGHT WHAT A FINE PLACE. OVER THE YEARS THE PLACE IS GOING DOWN HILL. MY WIFE AND I ARE VERY SAD AS WE BOTH LOVE GETTYSBURG AND THE HOTEL IS IN THE BEST PLACE. IF YOU LOOK DOWN AT THE FLOORS YOU CAN SEE THE SAME TRASH ON THE FLOORS YOU WILL SEE THREE DAYS LATER. THE ...
The water kept running all night. When I would get up to shut it off, no water was on, the sink was even dry. I went to get ice from the ice machine and I ended up running down the hall, I could literally feel someone following me. A good place for the ghost hunters out there. I woulnt be back.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/06
The staff was great and very helpful parking was in the back lot but safe and everything is in walking or trolley close to battlefield and ghost tours be back in august see you soon.
This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Gettysburg. Walking distance to all the shops. The hotel gives you that comfortable homey feeling when you are there and their dining room is excellent! We also took a buggy ride from just out the front door to around town. Very romantic place too. Will be back!

Get the Suite - It's a great room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/06
My wife and I are locals, but for fun I took her there for a weekend. It was terrific! We stayed in a suite, which was outstanding. We also walked around town, and took a horse carriage around town. Make sure to walk down to the Schriver House also. All around a terrific stay. Dinner at their restaurant was good also.

Very nice hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/06
Very nice hotel. Check in was very quick and the people at the desk were very friendly. The room was very comfortable and large. The location of the hotel is right in the center of town and there were many restaurants to choose from. A nice place to walk and people watch. We were minutes from Gettysburg. A very nice restaurant/bar on the premises. I would definetly recommend this hotel and hope to go back again someday.
This hotel is centrally located, near the shops and restaurants, and a short drive from the battlefields and the National Park Visitors Center. The staff -- many of them Gettysburg College students -- are bright, friendly, and excel in customer service. The English pub is authentic -- actually transplanted from London's Brick Lane! The pub ...
