This hotel is located on the famous Rue de Pigalle. While the area is famous for the red lights, we found the hotel to be quite safe and accomodating. The metro was only a few blocks away.

the front desk staff was very friendly. the rooms are your average european room, very small but clean. close to two metro stops. next time though i want to stay near the Latin district which was my favorite place. no need to eat downstairs just go across the street to the little market. i loved paris even though it was probaly the dirtiest city ...

Where NOT to go in Paris

Not a good example of the great values Paris can offer. Extremely noisy (outside in the streets) until close to 6:00 a.m. Run down--the room I had needs a complete renovation. Service in the breakfast room, maid service, etc., was sullen at best. I wouldn't recommend this place to my ex!!! The woman at the front desk, however, was absolutely delightful.
