poorly staffed, room changes frequently forgot to replace coffee, towels... we were at the front desk every morning asking for stuff that should have been handled.
cons. dirty. staff is rude. do not do anything to fix problems except inconvenience you and move you to new rooms. security is terrible, a random guest knocked on my door and charged in. took out illegal drugs, and stripped naked tried to force us onto bed. four 22yr old girls.. this man was 40-45, scary. We thought he was a staff ...
Stayed here in September 2007. Was initially given a room that was never cleaned. After dealing with that mix-up, was given a nicer room, but it was still pretty worn down. There was scum on the shower floor that apparently couldn't be removed, scuff marks on the wall, etc.
The neighborhood is right in downtown. This was convenient, but ...
We spent one night in Buffalo, and didn't get to the hotel until late. The service desk staff were very perfessional, and helpful. The first room we had smelled smokey and there was a visible haze in the room. This is a non-smoking hotel, so I think someone had smoked in it when they weren't supposed to. We were given a different room ...
We loved our room. The room and bathroom were both nice and clean. I traveled with two of my children and we had a lot of room in the suite. Even though the parking was a couple blocks from the hotel, it was not a problem for us because we did not go in and out much. The parking was secure... The breakfast was good and well stocked. All of the common areas were kept very clean. We would definately return!
Very convenient to the trendy downtown area. A few nice restaurants nearby. Many pub-types of places to eat. Many nightclubs. On Thursday nights in the Summer, they have some sort of street party near the hotel. This spills over into all of the nightclubs. It was extremely noisy. There was still hooting and hollering at 2:00 AM. Internet ...
Stayed there to be near my meeting I needed to attend downtown. Perfect Location. Airport shuttle came to get me which was nice. One of the better hotels downtown.
Stayed there to see a show at Shea's. Friendly desk staff go us into our room early. Rooms were GREAT. Breakfast was GREAT. A+. Parking is only 1 block away, and its FREE... I Repeat it's FREE!!!! I'll be back.
Although the hotel was renovated in 1999, there are signs of wear and tear, mostly in the bathrooms. Sinks have signs of repair, but overall was very clean. Furniture seemed old, some stains on couch. Bed was great! Front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. Depending on your room location, you may hear traffic throughout the night.
