My husband, daughter and I stayed overnight here to be close to the Biltmore. Upon our arrival, we paid cash for our room and were asked to leave a $50 deposit, which we put on our credit card. We went to our room and at first glance, we were happy with it. The room was hot, so I turned on the air, then we left to go downtown. On our way back to ...
We were here as part of a Biltmore package. Very affordable, but then again you get what you pay for. The hotel in general needs renovation, especially the entrance doors to the different buildings. They would not close or lock properly and were always left open. Our room was old and seemed as if it had not been cleaned in a while. The ...
I travel through Asheville every year with my wife to Florida. I was very impressed by the new look at the Ramada Riverridge. The place has had some subtle renovations, but the property is very clean. I remember when the hotel was with a different chain about 2 or 3 years ago. It was not a very desirable place to stay. I truly enjoyed the hot ...
After reading some of the reviews I was reluctant to visit the hotel, but noticed the dates on most negative reviews were old. Therefore I decided to give the hotel a try and see if any improvements were made. I was very surprised. The hotel has new mattresses, a great breakfast, and friendly staff. I will stay again.
First of all, I don't usually write reviews (though I read them all the time) but I wanted to spread a few good words about the Ramada Asheville. My wife and I came to visit her sister who lives in Asheville. We stayed the majority of our trip at a Hampton Inn near her sister's house. At the end of the trip we decided to stay a few extra ...
The place was exactly what we were looking for: clean, quiet, spacious. We stayed three nights while vacationing in Asheville. Great location! Less than 10 minute drive to downtown area as well as the Biltmore. Nice sized room. Comfy bed. with new mattress. Very nice breakfast at this price with choice of eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and ...
The King Suite was shabby: furniture worn, hole in ceiling over jacuzzi, black lace panties left under baggage stand, carpet stained and threadbare. Would not pay price for these accomodations again. Desk staff not responsive to our concerns about the room
Outside door into room "hall" would not lock electronically. I had to contact the front office (person on duty pretty non-responsive and unprofessional) and get them to finally lock the door manually for the night. Maintenance looks like it gets a low priority at this place. Also, I don't appreciate the smell of curry in the rooms ...
Room was filthy, and had a foul smell. Bed,sheets, and pillows had stains all over. It was like a college fraternity surrounded my bed prior to my arrival and had a "Circle jerk". Had to sleep in my truck.
