Capital Plaza HotelHotel was nice, conveniently located. Staff was friendly, accomodating off-the-menu requests. Breakfast buffet for the price, very good. Great food and a beautiful new look!Drastic improvement in the restaurant and Hotel! Great new colors and modern decor. The renovation changed the entire look and feel. Service was great throughout my stay, from check-in to check-out. Front desk staff were warm and inviting. Restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was quick and delicious. UndesidedAt my time at Capitol Plaza Hotel, I had various likes and dislikes of the hotel. First I would like to state that Capitol Plaza Hotel had several of friendly staff and there was a number of clean belongings. There were also things that I most of all hated! Conference staff stayThe color scheme was very welcoming and "homey". I did not eat in the restaurant, but the catered meal was very tasty. The bar area is open but seemed excessively noisy with only a few in the bar. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was CLEAN as well as the bath. Don't eat here !!!Do not , I repeat do not eat at the restaurant. Poor service and the food is plain awful. Breakfast buffet is $ 9.25 and is not as good as the free Holiday Inn Express buffet.

Nice Room-Hotel Being RemodeledHotel is currently being remodeled so there is a mess in the lobby and restaurant. This made check-in difficult since the front desk was moved to a banquet room. It should be nice when completed.
The staff and room were both nice. I noticed the room was quiet even with the construction taking place. The room had a nice desk to work with high speed internet access.
