We stayed at the Anantara and would NOT recommend it. The room was smelly and some of the staff very rude upon complaining. There are other hotels in the area offering better quality at lower rates. The food was also expensive and nothing special.

Lovely resort, nice rooms and service, but the beach pretty much dissapears at high tide, we do like to relax on the beach under a shade and do like to walk along the beach, so although a lovely resort we found the beach lacking, for this reason would stay elsewhere.

The Anantara is a lovely resort, rooms are comfortable, the only problem is the poor beach location, but this happens north of the town, when the tide comes in during the afternoon there the beach almost vanishes.
