ALL THESE BAD REVIEWS WERE WRITTEN BEFORE THE MOTEL WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT, THE PLACE IS BRAND NEW, VERY CLEAN, STAFF HELPFUL. GREAT PRICE. GOOD PART OF TOWN. WILL DEFINTLY GO BACK. ALL THOSE PREVIOUS REVIEWS ARE -BULL POOP.
I booked this place for a jacuzzi suite. My wife and I go into this room and right off, it smells like an ashtray. Next thing, go to the bathroom to see this jacuzzi and it turns out it is just a bathtub with a few jets. I was pretty upset. The bed was uncomfortable. Won't be getting my $160 again.
Horrible office staff - they are rude, uncooperative, and show no concern when customers are dissatisfied. Motel is not kid friendly at all. Pool closes at 8pm (before dark) and tolerance of kids, and any noise made by them, is zero. Inappropriate comments were made to women and young girls in our group. To say I am dissatisfied is putting it ...
My sisters and mom went there this past weekend(Sunday). We walked in to the room and it smelled like cigarettes covered up by rose spray. Unfortunately we did not get to spend the night or even an hour in the room, because we had to come back to Austin because of the sleet. We had to pay the 90 dollars for the room anyway. The room was a double queen and very, very little. Oh and we all lost at the casinos.
I disliked that rooms cannot get fresh air, that sheers are used for privacy and you wake to the sun blasting your face in bed. That there is no ice machine on the second floor. That all amenities are located at one end of the building. That soda machines and snack machines are empty. Limited parking and unsecure.
The quality of the room is about the level you'd expect from somewhere like Baymont. They have high speed wireless net access and a decent cable package. It is only two floors, but i don't think they have an elevator? Anyhoo, close to downtown and shopping makes it a good price for quick trips.
