the front desk wasn't nice. there was smell of smoke in the hotel. the door was about 3 inches of the floor. i wouldn't stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay there. clean room, nice smile, great stuff, good food, free breakfast, free internet, free parking, perfect location near restaurants and famous shops. Definitely I will come back.

My family stayed here while playing in a basketball tournement at KU. We especially enjoyed the fitness center, hot tub and pool. All of which were well kept and clean. There rooms were well appointed with fridge, coffee maker, safe, microwave. The little details were very impressive, like two pillows per person on the beds instead of the one flat ...

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations and this one ranks up at the top. Just the last two nights I was a guest at a HIExpress and had the same room, Jacuzzi Suite; but it DID NOT COMPARE to the room at this location. VERY NICE and well worth the few extra dollars. Not to mention friendly staff is always a plus!

This place was wonderful. The rooms were not crowded and it was very nice. I would love to stay there again whenever I visit Lawrence. The mangement was very good.

The stay was great except for the massive party going on across the hall. Calls to front desk were acted upon but no follow up. As soon as management left, the party resumed. With the exception of the noise, the stay was great! We will stay there again, just hope for no parties.
