We went with our infant and 2 yr old. We stayed from Sun-Tues. so it wasn't very crowded.
The pool areas were clean and well suited to small kids. There were also plenty of lifeguards on duty and they kept "wild" kids in check.
The 2-bedroom room was OK. the floorplans are small but the kitchenette was handy. The room was ...

Not that wonderful.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/07
Food crusted on furniture, someone's hair left over in the bathroom. They give inadequate supplies and seem annoyed when asked for more. I had a terrible experience with their on-site restaurant Smokey's. Too long to explain. Totally overpriced and the food is terrible. Beware of their "movie room" - it smelled soo bad in ...

Worst Stay Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/07
I went to this hotel with two other families. Six people out of group got an disease from being in their pool. I was told I would have a refund, now they will not provide a refund. They have been sited numerous times in the past year for health violations in the pool. They carry medication in their shop specifically for rashes because people break out in rashes from their pool. I would never go back!!!!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/07
Yes, we actually found a roach crawling in our cupboards! After a lowsy night of sleep on a pull out couch its not the first thing you want to see running around the kitchen before breakfast. Also the tiles were falling apart in the bathroom the hallways had a dingy dirt trail you could follw to the pool and the prices of food hahaha. Well at least ...

Get Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/13/07
This place is great, there is so much to do. It may be in the middle of no-where, but it is the ultimate get away from the city. U can go to the spa, have a quiet dinner, the kids can go to the water park(n door)go skiing even if its not snowing..they make their own snow! It is so worth it.

Never again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
We booked a 2 night stay at Timber Ridge Lodge the weekend following Thanksgiving. We booked a 2 bedroom villa to accomodate my husband and myself, our 2 children and my parents. The room was TERRIBLE! It was very dirty (dirty, stained carpet, "things" smeared on the bathroom walls, even a fly in our room (remember, this is late ...
Took our entire family - booked 3 rooms and everyone had a blast. We enjoyed the restaurant, the water park, the stables and Grand Geneva as well. Awesome time and we plan to go back soon!!

Never going back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/06
We had an aweful experience at Timber Ridge! First of all, our room was so dirty I couldn't believe we were paying $178 per night! There were several huge red stains of the floor as well as dirty foot prints! My 4 year old daughter found bugs that were at least 1/2 inch long (beetle-like) crawling on the wall and couch! The tub had a small ...

Scouts Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/06
As for the location and enjoyment of the waterpark and rooms all was ok. The girls had fun. However, as a Girl Scout Troop funds are limited and when making arrangements indicated that we had a no-tax form and was told several times to just bring in the form. Well at check-out time we found out this was not true - no-tax forms are not accepted ...

Greatest experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/06
We brought our two grandchildren for a weekend stay and had the greatest time. There were plenty of things to do and having a kitchen added value to our stay.
