The location of the hotel in Erie was good. It was close to shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was polite and courteous, the room staff - not so much. As a visitor from Canada this past weekend I must comment on this hotel. We were accomodated beyond belief. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Staff went above and beyond. I have already booked for next year! Would not stay anywhere else!!

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Friendly staff. WE've stayed here probably 10 times in the past year and have always had a pleasant stay.

I have stayed at the Erie Fairfield several times for shopping trips. The rooms are very clean (I'm picky!) and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is fresh and the whole hotel is decorated very nicely.

The sheets on the bed did not appear to have
been changed. The coffee pot was nasty with
dust and water or something else.
Management did not schedule enough staff
to manage front desk. Staff was pleasant
but obviously stressed by trying to manage
switchboard, checking guest in and taking
care of guest special request. This is not
what I expect from "Marriott". I will not
stay at this property again.

We have visited Erie a few times and for most of these visits, our stay was at Fairfield. It's the most comfortable, safe & convenient location to all shopping & restaurants. The staff are very helpful & pleasant. My kids love to stay there and always look forward to staying there when we go to Erie. The times we did not sta there were only because we could not get a room, needless to say, we were all disappointed.

My daugther and I were coming to Erie so that she could visit Gannon University. We had reservations at Super 8 Motel. When we got there we were very disappointed at the place and cancelled our reservation. So we called information for Fairfield Inn. When we called for a room the reservation person was so very nice.
