After reviewing all of our options in NH and VT it appeared that the overwhelming favorite ski destination was this Comfort Inn and Suites "in the middle of no where". It isn't slopeside but after reading all the reviews and some recommendations from my friends we decided to check it out. My wife and I (and our four kids) planned to ...

Vermont's Best Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/08
Just got back from skiing Burke and Jay Peak. This hotel has never let me down. Year after year the same people are their to greet you and take care of you. Karen and Brandi at the front desk are a hoot. Gene the breakfast person is one of the best. The hotel is spotlessly clean and really well maintained. The ski packages that they offer are ...
My family and I stayed at the Comfort Inn of St. Johnsbury a few weeks ago. The hotel looks very nice and rooms were clean, however it is definitely over-priced. The staff did not seem happy to be there and the woman that was on when we checked in was very rude and instead of helping us, chose to stay on the phone with a friend! The battery in the ...

It is a very nice hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/07
The queen rooms are very large with a sofa bed, and they are very clean. We reveived a very friendly service from the staff.
I will stay in this hotel again if I return to this area. It is a little pricy but the manager's welcome email offers 15% off.

Get hotel! Perfect for snowmobilers!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/28/07
This hotel is by far the best in the area.
My husband and I have stayed here over a dozen times and have never had a complaint. It's really great for snowmobilers too. There is a groomed access trail right from the parking lot that leads onto the VAST trials. You can park your sleds right out front and just hop on and ride without ...

The rooms were large and comfortiable and my family enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub. We would like to come back in the winter and ride a snow mobile. all and all a great value.

Family Vacation Paradise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/05
This hotel is hands down the best in the state of Vermont. I travel throughout New England on business three or more days a weeks. My wife and kids are regularly begging me to return to St. Johnsbury. We ski Burke Mountain from the hotel several times a year and in the summer we love to mountain bike up at Kingdom Trails. The prices are ...

Disney could learn something from this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/05
My family and I stay here every winter and ski Burke Mountain. This is simply the most clean and relaxing hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful and the facility provides everything you could ask for (except a restaurant). Take advantage of their vacation packages. Although they change them often I've found them to save me quite a bit with a family of six. Great place, can't recommend it enough.

Good Hotel, but be careful on room choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/12/05
Don't get a room near the reception area where there is a cozy fire place. It was very noisy. We were awake all night. The desk should not have allowed such noise to continue when there are rooms close to the reception area. I almost rated this place as awful, except that other stays have been very enjoyable. My daughter loves the pool. The ...
