Foremost, they over-billed us $234 for a two-night stay. In addition, we were never able to get our room warmer than about 65 degrees. Not worth the price and certainly not worth the hassle of getting the charge removed. Apparently if you book through Orbitz their system is nonetheless set up to bill your card if Orbitz doesn't immediately go through. Not my problem but they made it mine. Very frustrating.
I stayed in one of the suites for Valentine's Day and it was Great! The Staff were awsome. I would without a doubt recommend people to stay here. Its well worth the price! Plus the view and location cant be beat!
We spent one night at the Grand Hyatt (11th floor) before boarding a cruise ship. From the moment we got out of the taxi, we felt comfortable. The hotel was immaculate, our reservation was handled promptly, the room was impeccable and very tastefully decorated, the hotel was conveniently located (within walking distance to Pike Place, Macy's, ...

I have stayed in this hotel twice (a guest of Microsoft) and I was blown away both times, especially the second time when I was on a high floor and had a spectacular view of Elliott Bay. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and by far the most luxurious I have ever stayed in -- ok, I would never be able to afford this place for more than a day or two ...
We stayed in an Emerald Suite on the 27th floor, and it couldn't have been any better. Incredible views of the waterfront, the market, and the space needle, very comfortable bed and furniture, great minibar, awesome bathroom and tub. By all means upgrade to a suite-it's not that much more and you more than double the size of your room. ...

Seattle's Best Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
My wife and I don't usually stay in upper end hotels, but we decided to go for it thon our vacation to Seattle. Boy, am I glad we did. Every bit of the hotel was immaculate and the beautiful wood everywhere mixed warmth with a very formal atmosphere.
We were lucky enough to get upgraded to an executive suite, and all I can saw is ...
Friendly and accomodating staff. Beautiful room with a great view. The only downside was the hotel restaurant, Ruth's Chris. Food was just ok and prices are exorbitant. For a Steakhouse, they should be able to cook a steak properly, but they blew it.
This hotel is in the perfect locaion. Everything you want is in walking distance. Also, the rooms are beautiful, especially the bathrooms.
The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever seen and the staff was pretty friendly.
I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Seattle.

i absolutely LOVED this hotel. my high school band went and we all loved it. the staff didnt care that we were teenagers and they didnt treat us differently than any other people. the rooms were nice and clean, and the housekeepers were prompt at cleaning the room and they didnt steal anything. (of course.) i would go back in a heartbeat.

I just spent 4 days at the Grand Hyatt on a corporate retreat. This is the 2nd year we have returned to the Grand Hyatt and I hope we continue to choose them as our place of fun. The service is second to none. The rooms are beautiful and spacisou. Staying at the Grand Hyatt makes you feel special. Thanks for a wonderful time.
