I hated the service at this hotel, the people were very rude and didn't want to give us anything! Some of the lights didn't work and the phone didn't work. To top that off, nobody would come fix these things for us! We asked for more cover and that didn't work out either. The hot tub wasn't even a hot tub, it was just a jacuzzi ...

I called to get some info about the Free cruise parking if you stayed with them for a night, well the girls that answered the phoenwas Very rude! All she could say was Yeah! And can you hold on for a minute! Just her rudness on the phone we will be staying somewhere else for the night and I will pay the 70.00 extra to park my car while we are gone on our cruise.... Just poor Customer Service! And No help at all!

i loved the location and everything the hotel offered.my only problem was that smokers would smoke in the elevator and make it stink.sometimes it smelled like urine.but it was ok i loved my room view everything was in walking distance i would definatly come back next year:)

This place took the cake on scary places, if I live to be 100 I will never stay in an Econo Lodge. The front desk people were not from this country and Our microwave caught on fire, jusczzi did not work, toilet did not flish, and most important the smoke alarm did not work and I have a five year old. The fire marshall was called and I'm not through with that business. DON'T STAY THERE

We've stayed twice and have a reservation for a third stay in March. It isn't the greatest motel I've stayed in, but it is fine for an overnight or two, and they offer free cruise parking. That alone pays for the cost of the room.

My husband paid for a two night stay and we went back for the check time which was at 4pm. My husband had to card to get into the room but the person at the front desk said that we didn't have a room. My husband showed her the card and so they put his middle name. They finally gave us the room. But the room smelled like smoke and the sheets ...

Great location close to the beach but the
service from the front desk and cleaning staff was terrible. Clerk rude when asked about poor internet access. Rooms not cleaned on 3rd day at all. Called front desk, informed that they would be cleaned before the staff left for the day - this was not done, sand on floors, trash not emptied, food missing ...

We stayed here because we had points we could use to stay here without cost. It wasnt anything special at all though. The location is okay, we walked to the beach easily. It wasnt the cleanest or best smelling best in the world...I would only stay here if you just need a cheap place just to sleep in Galveston. If you really want to enjoy your hotel I'd stay at one of the nicer ones on the Seawall.

The worst place I have ever stayed. The mattress on the bed was so terrible I think my back is ruined for life. The room stunk and the floor was sticky. The place is a " DUMP ". It sounded like the room above us had cattle in it. So much noise that it is almost impossible to sleep.
