My family and I stayed at the POFQ In October of 2009 for 6 nights. This is our second time in this resort and I cannot imagine that another moderate is any nicer. To some of the more negative reviewers I say, A Moderate resort is supposed to be equal to a Holiday Inn type hotel, not the Ritz. Our room was small but well laid out, 2 double beds ...
shower curtains had mold . room was dusty.... it was bad they have 1 pool and some child pooped in it ( pool closed for whole day and next) fast passes took 5 hours before you an actually go on the ride at disney. UNIVERSAL IS MY CHOICE FOR NEXT YEAR also very much cheaper
I had spent a lot of time searching and reading reviews of this particular resort and I can say that my husband and I loved the place. Everything was perfection. The room was ready when we arrived around 11 am, we had the towel oragami animals everyday we were there. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the resort every day and never ...

Think Twice before spending monie on this Hotel

Let me first say, that in the last 32 years, I have been to Walt Disney World 22 times. I have just arrived home within the last hour and couldn't wait to get online to let the world know just how bad Disney has changed just within the last six months. This is what started the whole mess and could have eaisly been resolved and I would be ...

Disorganized staff, clueless about appropriate times to interrupt us in our room ( 10:30 pm phone call from bell services, phone call and knock on door from housekeeping despite do not disturb sign on door). I would think that a resort catering to families with small children would be more respectful of nap times and bed times. The plywood holding ...
We've stayed at this disney Resort 4 times. Out of the moderate resorts in disney this one is are favorite (favorite deluxe resort is the Polynesian) It is very nice since theres only 3 in my family. Then we go with my sisters and it works out perfect they put are rooms all next to each other. The food court is awesome my doughter always ...
This is probably the best of the moderate resorts on Disney property. I liked that this resort is not quite as large as the others and there is not as much walking required. The grounds are decorated to give you the feel of being in New Orleans. The dragon pool was a favorite of our daughter's. The rooms aren't the biggest, but you ...

How can you go wrong with Disney?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/07
We stayed here in March 2006. I have been coming to Disney with my family since I was 9 and now it was time to bring my child. I have stayed at almost every WDW resort; The Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Wilderness Campground, Port Orleans French Ouarter, and the Boardwalk. Every resort was, of course, very nice, but there is a special sort ...

Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/07
the most amazing holiday I've ever been on! The rooms are slighlty smaller than you expect but the whole atmousphere is incredible. It still has all the magic of Disney.
It was very beautiful and very peaceful. With all the colors, the decor, the dixieland music it really reminds you of the "big easy".. I stayed back in building 1 on the sassagoula river, and it was such stunning morning view. Having a boat to take you to Downtown Disney, it's alot better and more relaxing than the buses. Bus ...
