Convenience of NY without the hassle. Could park at the hotel, fall out the door and onto the path.
Clean, good service. Good rates.
Great view of NY.

Nice hotel, good location, & great view
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/05
The hotel felt nice and new. It has Jersey City light rail closeby and is right next to a PATH station, which makes lower Manhattan a short trip. Plenty of resturants and shopping within minutes via light rail or by walking a couple of blocks. Great views of the NYC at night.
The view from my room overlooked the NY skyline. It was very close to the Pathtrain that takes you right inside ground zero. And out onto Lower Manhattan.

Nice choice when not staying in Manhattan...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/05
I have spent 25 nights at this Hotel on business. It is the only hotel I really recommend staying at in Jersey City, NJ. It is right on the Hudson River, and is a quick ferry ride (in summer) or Path ride across to Manhattan. The beds aren't all that comfortable, and the service is average, but the View from "The Vu" restaurant ...
The Hyatt on the Hudson River was excellent. The Room was very comfortable and upper class. The comforter on the bed was down and the inside of it was Velour and very soft. I was there with a group of students on a Field trip for an Art club. All of the high school students bragged about the imenities of the rooms. Some of the students stated ...

Excellent find!

Most people visiting NYC (especially if you are not familiar with the tri-state area) will look for a hotel in Manhattan. I would recommend the Hyatt Jersey City instead. This hotel provides easy access to NYC by way of the PATH train or ferry terminal. The PATH station is immediately adjacent to the hotel and is a 2 min train ride to the World ...

Great value just across the Hudson
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/05
The customer service at this hotel was great, especially considering I booked my room via Priceline.com. My room was quite large with a view of the Hudson River and Midtown, and I don't think I've ever slept in a bed that big before (with a huge body pillow to boot!).

This hotel was more than I had expected it to be. The view of the New York skyline is to die for. Great customer service and the hotel also had parking. The rooms were clean as well. The subway to New York City was literally next door to the hotel which made New York very accessible to get to. I would recomend this place anytime. I enjoyed my stay very much.
