I got a good rate and found the hotel and the staff to be fine. My cheap room overlooked the main street but that was fine, since it was not noisy at night and the value was good. What I did NOT like was that they wanted $32 USD for 24 hours of wired room access to the internet. In this day and age, that is certainly gouging.

what a fabulous hotel!!My partner and I stayed in this hotel in 2006 and are going back in the summer. The Nile palace is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. I cannot wait to go back in the summer.

Take care with this Hotel. Though booked and paid in advance, though having valied written confirmations - when our group of 28 arrived in the hotel, we were informed that our rooms are given out to diplomats from Quatar, and that we have to find another hotel. Ever heard of something like this - of course not, so if it depends of you, avoid this Hotel.

I have been to the Nile Palace twice. It is a lovely hotel right on the banks of the Nile. The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast - well, the choice is enormous, everything you could possibly wish for. I will certainly be going back again.

This place was excellent.

We were treated with respect and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us.

I will be returning in November and you can guess where I will be staying.

Myself my husband, daughter, son in law and 3 children stayed at the Le Meridian for one week at beginning of December on half board basis. I stayed in this hotel for 1 week, with a couple of friends and man alive, it was theeee best hotel ever. Ok so you have the winter palace up the road, but this for quality wind hands down.

the hotel is situated in a very exellent area just behind the red sea. i am very fussy about cleaning and i thought that the hotel itself was A*+. the workers were very helful and met all our needs.
