We went there for a wedding. The location was near everything, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the service was exellent. The breakfast bar also was very good. We did not hear the train at all, unless you open the outside door. Our room was in the front of the building.May be the rooms close to the tracks hears the trains. The people that works there knows how to please their guests, Thanks.
We stayed here for 6 weeks, waiting to move into our house. You get used to the trains going by every hour or so. If you have kids they will enjoy it. The first night or so I have to admit it takes some getting used to.
The hotel needs some updating, but is not awful. You can keep pets here, so you do not feel bad if they make a mess. ...

Want my money back!

This place was horrible, the train tracks are 30feet from your window and they run all night long! They are so close that the bed actually shook as the trains went by. Who could possibly sleep here? No wonder there weren't many cars in the parking lot. Marriott should be forced to notify potential guests of this horrible nuisance prior to checking in.

No Sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/05
We we placed in the back of the hotel. Our room was 20-30 feet from the railroad tracks. Trains ran by all night long and thus we got little to no sleep.
The staff was at best adequate with no sense of urgency and no need to make you feel welcome.

There seemed to be very few cars in the lot, and when we specifically asked for a quiet room, we were placed on the corner next to the train tracks. The trains blew their horns just as they got to the corner we were on. The bathrooms had hair in the bath tubs and on the floor. We checked out as fast as we could the following morning after getting no sleep. There are plenty of other hotels close by.
