This week, I booked a room for Celebrity Chef Jon Ashton (www.Jonashton.com) at the Hilton in Nashville. He left the room at for lunch and when he returned later that day, his laptop had been stolen from his room. Somebody had accessed the room using a key card, made by the Front Desk.
The Manager on Duty researched what time the room was opened ...

Parking is Expensive!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/08
If you drive be very careful here. The Parking garage (owned by the hotel but leased to an operator) is expensive and does NOT offer a daily hotel rate. if you come in and out a lot, parking charges could exceed $28 a day or more. Hotel is unsympathetic. There are better downtown hotles with more custome rfriendly parking policies.

Go every year during Fan Fair. Have stayed there four times. The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Clean, great personnel, close to everything. Great restaurants. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Nashville.
This is a wonderful hotel right in the heart of downtown Nashville. Everything is within walking distance. The Country Music Hall of Fame is just accross the parking lot, the Ryman Auditorium is just a couple of blocks away and the Gaylord Center is across the street. We parked at the hotel and didn't have to get our car back out until our ...
booked rooms here for 3 nights for 12 guys on a golf trip. rooms were good as advertised, breakfast bar was good[though pricey], sports bar was great, but the best part is the location. we could walk to the bars and restaurants in nashville at our leisure. service and parking was good too. concierge was very helpful in our directions to the golf courses.

Only stayed for 1 night, but it was pleasant. Beds were great! Carpet was dirty, but room was spacious. Right across from Country Music Hall of Fame. We walked for dinner and had a great time. Would go back.A little pricey, but it is tourist season.

The basic services in this hotel leave a lot to be desired. I have now stayed here twice, after staying in numerous other places in Nashville, and this will be my last stop here. I can only assume they have a staffing problem in housekeeping, and the front desk and in general because things I would take for granted at the Loews Vanderbilt, or Union ...

Lobby and lounge lovely. Liked that Starbucks was there.Staff at the front desk was lovely. Bartender in the lounge was rude.
Conference rooms DIRTY. The glasses were dirty. The chairs has smears of god knows what on them. Food at breaks was bare bones to nasty. We visited a few peoples rooms staying at the host hotel.... yuck. Shabby. Glad we were staying elsewhere.
Conference was large--- they should have made more of an effort.
