This is a nice place to stay for the money. But you can find a better place just because it really is not that close to much the room are a little close together and you have to pay for parking.

The best thing about this Holiday Inn is its staff. Everyone was helpful and polite. We didn't have a need that wasn't addressed quickly and completely. But the best is Kevin Mc Quade, concierge. He completed planned our three days with sight seeing tours and places to eat. He even made suggestion on what to order. If you are going to Charleston for any reason, stay at the Historic District Holiday Inn and be treated like royalty.

I attended a conference at this location for 1 weeek and my room was cleaned about 2 times out of the 6 days that I was there including the weekend.
