Strange that a small little Italian restaurant is in Artesia, but this place is here to stay. Shockingly good.

I have eaten here four times. Awful This food may not to bad if it did not have some kind of watery unflavorful sauce swimming over ever dish they serve! The Italians do not slather tastless liquid over their food. I love veal, but everytime I order it is swimming in blandless yuk. Please, Mr cook, I would love to eat there again, but you need to study up on actual Italian sauces.

Being from the east coast, this Italian restaurant does not live up to expectations. The red sauce is very bland. The Sauces on the chicken dished is NOT anything special. It makes me wonder who wrote the other reviews and what they are referencing. It is NOT by any means a 3 or four star restaurant. it barely makes 2. There are very few restaurants in Asteria to speak of, so I am guessing that people dont really know good food here.

A great restaurannt in a sea of oil wells, Piccolino's in Artesia NM is THE place to eat Italian food. The menu is well thought out and the dishes are very flavorful. And speaking of flavor try threir delicious sauce, they serve it with warm bread to dip as you would chips at a mexican restaurant, simply deliciuos!

Reasonable prices, great service and wonderful food. We have never had a dish that we didn't enjoy here. This little cafe has lots to choose from!
