Great place, will be backWe had never stayed here before, had always stayed at another hotel in Pigeon Forge. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and just wanted to stay somewhere different since our kids were not with us. The staff there could not have been any nicer. WILL NEVER GO BACKTHIS WAS OUR 2ND TIME STAY WILL NOT GO BACK THE POOL HAD TOO MUCH CHLORINE TUNED OUR HAIR GREEN. SPOKE TO DESK CLERK WHO INFORMED ME THAT THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST CASE. Thought it was great until...My family and I stayed here in June-08 and thought we had a great time until today 8/27/08 when I noticed that Red Roof decided to charge my bank account again (on top of the $307.00 we paid in June for our stay). They charged us $100.57 because they say I called and made reservations and never showed up! What?? Can they do that? This is a scam and ...2 of 6 Yahoo! Complete DisappointmentThis place has 3 good things - friendly & accommodating staff; hot water; and good hair dryers. Arrived on Mon.; had king room on 5th floor; odor was horrible; affected sinus and I stayed sick the entire week. A/C extremely loud and slept w/o it for 2 nights. Asked to be moved. Was moved Wed. DisappointmentUpon arrival at the inn, our room that was assigned to our family was not clean (after 4:30). We had to wait until someone was available to clean it. The main importance of the front staff (not friendly at all) at that time was to check-in other guest. Good ValueMy husband & I stayed in a suite for 5 days. We noticed maintenace problems and reported them but they were never corrected. The breakfast was limited and never changed.
Closet space was almost non existant. We requested a room with a view, but there was not much of one.
